I was I was very happy with the Smashbox anti-redness primer. I was able to camouflage redness around my nose and not have to worry about using foundation. I could use it under foundation and my makeup applied smoothly and flawlessly. I didn't have to worry about heavy concealer as this was an excellent primer. I have been using the Smashbox Photo Finish Anti-redness primer almost daily for the past few weeks and I love the results it gives me. I have dry sensitive skin and I suffer from some redness. I usually apply this primer on my nose, cheeks and forehead. I apply after my moisturizer and before foundation and I find it does a great job of neutralizing redness and gripping my makeup. The texture feels lightweight and soothing on my skin and I find that a little goes a long way. I'm glad I came across this product and I would actually buy it going forward! I received this product for free from Topbox Marketing for testing and review purposes. This primer has a deeper green tint compared to other anti-redness primers I've tried. While I didn't notice a significant reduction in redness, as I still needed to apply concealer to cover the redness around the sides of my nose, I did find that it made my complexion appear slightly brighter and fairer overall. I wish the redness-correcting effect was more noticeable, especially for targeted areas of redness. The texture is lightweight and completely non-sticky. It feels comfortable on the skin and makes a great option for summer months.

I used this Smashbox Photo Finish Anti-Redness Correct & Soothe Primer in the morning after cleansing and toning my skin. The colour of the primer is very green, and it was difficult to blend and make the green colour go away on my skin. I didn't enjoy the texture as it felt dry and matte on my skin. My skin started peeling as it was too dry. The primer didn't really help with reducing, correcting, and soothing the redness on my acne prone skin. This product is not meant for me. It's a lovely base for makeup. I find my foundation went on much smoother, exactly what I expect from smashbox. I will say it didn't cover as much redness as I wished but was very happy with it anyways, it's a true and trusted product! Would recommend, I will repurchase when it's done!

I've been using this primer for a few weeks now and I'm really satisfied with it.I have a bit of rosacea on my cheeks and whenever I put this primer on I noticed that it makes the redness look a lot less visible and it also made my skin feel nice and soft and helped my makeup go on more smoothly. I used it in the morning. It made my skin incredibly soft! 😍 I'm extremely sensitive to perfumes, and this product is completely fragrance-free and doesn't have a chemical smell, which is a huge relief! My skin is very sensitive, and it soothed it, much to my surprise. As for reducing redness, it works. I tried it on its own and noticed an improvement. I was gifted this product by Topbox circle to try and wanted to leave my review. I personally never wear foundation or concealer as I don't like a lot of makeup on my face, but with this product it is very light weight and did not irritate my skin. I applied it to two areas on my face where it was a little more red. I will say the redness minimized, but it did leave my skin looking more yellowish. I did like that it hid the redness of my pimples.

I was very excited about to try the Smashbox Photo Finish Anti-redness Correct & Soothe Primer. I do currently have rosacea on my cheeks and covering it without looking cakey or irritating it can be a struggle. I did not find there was enough green pigment to neutralize my redness. However, the primer certainly smoothed my texture which made application nicer, coverage much better and my makeup stayed perfect until I removed it. It also did not irritate my skin. Overall, I would absolutely purchase this product again as a general primer. I wouldn't purchase it specifically if I wanted immediate, visible redness correction. This primer is fantastic! It comes out green but blends perfectly with my skin tone. It's very easy to apply and is not greasy at all. It reduced the redness in my complexion a lot and allowed my foundation to last much longer. My skin appears to be much smoother and looks balanced. I would recommend this primer.
