I've been using the St. Tropez line for about 3 years now constantly. The "Gradual Tan" is a very natural shade and gives even the most translucent of skin (think winter) a warm glow. I am very light (shade nw10 Mac cosmetics) with cool undertones and struggle with that chicken skin, see through almost skin in the winter. Applying this nightly helps keep me looking alive lol! In the spring and early summer, this product allows me to wear exposing clothing before I'm able to get a little natural colour without feeling self conscious about how bright I am. Lol. ** as fair as the "firming" aspect, I have not seen any difference. This lotion is hydrating and there is little after smell.

I continually buy this product and use it regularly as it gives such great colour and is really east to apply with the mitt! I used to use the old formula, and found that it was much harder to use and it took a long time to dry. With this, I can put it on even right before I get dressed and it gives me such a nice glow. I can even lift with it on and I sweat like crazy, but I still find that it holds up really well!

I used to LOVE the previous version of this. What happened and why did you change it? It's streaky, muddy, clumpy and completely unnatural looking. Waste of money and losing a customer. Please sort it out St Tropez!

I used the old formula and it was amazing. I tried the new one and I am extremely disappointed. I now need to use a mitt, but cannot do this at the gym where I normally apply it. It is a funny colour and dislike the smell. I join in with the other (in the majority) dissatisfied customers and will move to a different brand.

I have been buying this product for years and absolutely loved it when the packaging was just a brown colour the tan was amazing lovely brown colour instantly and could easily go over any patches but now I've bought it again and the tan has changed it's a horrible green colour and it's so difficult to rub it in patches everywhere really sticky and takes a while to sink into the skin! I can't believe what they have done to this product it was amazing the way it was before!!!

Best self tanner so easy to apply, dries quickly and gives a beautiful glow. Love that you can see the colour going on

I used to use the original lotion before it was discontinued. I was absolutely skeptical about trying this new formula, but actually much prefer this product! For instance, I used to have to apply the original in the evenings and would often stress about sleeping with it on, as it did not dry very fast. This new version gives fantastic colour and you truly don't need to use much. I apply it in the mornings now immediately after showering and can get dressed in an instant as it dries amazingly fast! For anyone who is experiencing streaks, all I can say is make sure you use a CLEAN MITT. Of course it's going to streak and go on less ideally when you use a dirty, soaked mitt. Plus, it's just very unhygienic. I hope they continue to make this product forever!!

I honestly can't express how incredible this tan is. I don't understand the poor reviews. I tan frequently so already have a base layer but this stuff is incredible to get me to the colour I want to achieve for an evening out. I'd definitely advise to use a mitt when applying and you have to work quite quickly but I'd honestly recommend if you haven't got time to tan but I think having a base tan helps it look better!

I bought this product a few months ago because I couldn't find the old formula bottle anywhere and I used to use the old formula religiously as it was the most perfect fake tan for my eczema, and this new formula is a complete disaster and is streaky and does not sit in dry spots very nice

I have been a cult user of St Tropez tan for years and my favourite being the every day tan sculpt and glow. It was a dream to apply, gave the best colour, my skin felt amazing, no streaks, no tint, just fool proof. I don't know what happened here, but this product was infuriating. I agree with the previous reviewer. It's just horrible and so difficult to work with. Coming from a fake tan pro- do not buy this!
