For several years as my natural brows disappeared, I felt I was very lucky to have found Stay All Day Waterproof Brow Color in medium. But when I ordered two a year ago, the product in medium did not produce the natural look I loved! It stayed all day and more but that is not the look I want! I agree with all the other reviewers Bring Back the Previous Formula!,

This brow pencil started impressing me after I had to find a product to keep my over plucked eyebrows on in a pool, in the ocean, in the sweat, and in the sun. This product is the goat. The holy grail. The ultimate. It is important how the item is stored as if you store this item with the cap down it will over deliver product, absolutely the polar opposite of the products purpose. This product is ahead of its time. I forgot what it was called for a moment and couldn't find it on the website. Immediately I went to gone but not forgotten. I was wondering why the rest of the makeup world was not in an absolute out rage. Being any industry for years I have tried numerous different products and also been sponsored by different lines, stila always wins. Even when I am working for a different line if someone tells me their brow sucks it always in my back pocket.

I'm writing a review because I'm back on this site repurchasing my probably 20th Stila brow pen. I'm overdue to write one! I absolutely love this product. I've been using the Stila Brow Pen for over a decade and have always gotten compliments on my brows or been asked what I used! I've tried others (Glossier, Anastasia, Benefit, etc.) for comparison; however, Stila still outperforms the others. I still go back to this one because: -Staying power. I like to wear this at night so that I don't have to do my brows in the morning. This won't budge or fade as long as you apply to bare skin first and then follow with skincare afterwards. However, this new formula is not as waterproof as the old formula (*tear*). It does fade significantly when I do a morning water rinse, but leaves a light stain behind. -This pen doesn't dry out as fast as Glossier and other brands! My Stila brow pen would last me approximately 8-9 months with daily use. -Great ink flow. The application is reliable and leaves even strokes (no patchiness!). I can understand the negative reviews, though. The formula did sadly change (please, please bring it back!). The colors as well. I used to wear DARK before the formula change, and now I wear LIGHT (I am Asian with light neutral skin tone). I do agree with the review below that you need to store the pen upright (tip up) so that the ink doesn't pool into the tip and runs dark and makes a mess. The color should come out sheer like watercolor, which gives the most natural effect. Despite the changes, I still find this pen is more superior than the other brow pens on the market if the correct shade and method is used correctly. Good luck!

I bought the medium shade, and it's terrible. I've used this brand's eyebrow pencil in the medium shade before, and it's lovely. I expected this pen to match the pencil in color, but it doesn't. The pen has a rich ginger color—it looks completely unnatural and has nothing in common with the medium brown shade. Because of that, I couldn't even wear it and had to return it.

I don't have any hair on my brows and depended on the dark brow pencil. I purchased one of your pencils and it was a total joke. Very disappointed.

This new formula is incredibly awful! The color is terrible, the formula is terrible, as well as the longevity. The old formula was a perfect match that I purchased for several years. It used to be bedroom proof, but that is no longer the case. Why change something that wasn't broken?! Bring back the old PLEASE!

I suffer from over plucked, 90's eyebrows. I have patches that have no hair at all. This pen gives a natural brow look, even in spots where there is no hair at all. I have dark brown eyebrow hair and the medium works great. You can even blend it in with an eyebrow brush. However, and most importantly, do NOT store with the cap side down or even on its side. Store with cap upright. That way the ink doesn't pool up in the tip, making a big mess on your brow. Also, use the lightest of strokes. Practice makes perfect. This stays all day, and people have commented on how great my brows look. Stila, please do not discountinue!

I'm with many other reviewers on this one, the old medium (and entire range) in the grey and gold container was such an incredible product. I've searched over the past year or two for a comparable, but there's just nothing like it. It had a thin consistency that was buildable, and a true ashy tone that gave definition without being stark. I don't get it when a company discontinues a popular product, and even more so when they don't read the reviews and bring it back. If by some miracle you produce it again you'd have a customer here, but please let us know in a description so we don't waste our money on another dud.

This waterproof brow liner stays on! It lasts until you wash it off. I have very thin brows & this product creates a natural look. The liquid pen flows smoothly & I prefer it over a pencil. It lasts me a long time without drying out. They changed the formula a couple years ago. I really wish they'd bring it back. Can't believe they took a perfected product & changed it. This version is still well worth it though. They used to offer more color choices. The lightest version still works for me, but not as well. I'm surprised a product this good isn't available in stores like it used to be. I wish they would market it more widely to ensure they continue to make it. Truly a great product!

This is a great product once you know how to use it -- or rather, store it. I used to store the previous version of this product with the cap side down. When I did the same for this product, too much product went to the tip and was dark and strong when applied to the brow. I now store this with the cap side up. The right amount still reaches the tip but it isn't dark. I use medium.
