I switched to it from a harsher cleanser after being diagnosed with Hashimoto's Disease (autoimmune disease that attacks the thyroid) & Hypothyroidism. These conditions really dry out the body—particularly mouth, skin and scalp. This cleanser has been wonderfully gentle on my skin, yet still nourishing. Love it and wouldn't be without it!
