I purchased these for overnight when I had a bladder infection and cannot be trying to constantly make it to the washroom especially at night. They do hold a lot and I just let go during the night plus whatever bladder leakage occurs No leakage outside of the absorbent brief. I purchased a large in these and take XL in the typical absorbent brief. Also the tapes are a bit tricky as compared to pull ups. They are bulky so are best for at home or overnight. I would look for something else for public transit, shopping and errands.
