I shave in the shower with hot water. This pre-shave oil, followed by a can of Barbasol allows my razor (Gillette Mach 3) to last for several months. I experience no razor burn or skin irritation of any kind. I don't use a shaving brush. The Art of Shaving is a brand I trust because it just works. Because each Mach 3 cartridge razor last for several months, this pre-shave oil has lowered the cost of shaving drastically. Recommended: Yes

Never heard of Art of Shaving. Tried it on a friend's recommendation. I doubt I will ever use anything else.  I have sensitive skin and this doesn't irritate and the shave is close and smooth.

Though I like the IDEA of this product and what it does to improve your shave, it unfortunately leaves a sticky residue on my razor, shaving bowl, and the bristles of my brush. This residue continues to build up... shave after shave. Due to this, I had to stop using it after just 3 shaves. This buildup stays on my skin too--leaving my skin feeling heavy and sticky. I'm not sure how to effectively remove this buildup, and I'm mainly worried about the bristles of my expensive brush. I'm glad I only ordered the tiny trial bottle. As I said, I like the idea here, but the sticky build-up is unacceptable to me.

I bought this product a month ago, it was really worth buying the product.

This is a first for me, but a great new addition. Scentless, but it kinda seems like applying EVOO to my face. My beard is softer as a result and makes shaving easier.

I can go two days without shaving when I use this. I'm retired

Moins de blessures au niveau cutanées, aucune irritation, la sensation de feu après rasage à peine perceptible. Dernier point , ce produit offre une gamme d'essence laissant sur la peau une signature olfactive discrète et agréable. Les ingrédients sont très bien indiqués , la liste des produits prohibés ou non recommandés ne font pas du tout partie de la composition de cette huile , même dans à la toute fin de chaîne moléculaire. En résumé, je recommande fortement ce produit particulièrement pour ceux qui ont un poils dur.

I've been using the pre-shave oil for a few years now, it really helps shaving especially since I use a straight razor. I won't shave without it.

Never heard of pre-treating your face before you shave but now I know why. This stuff is great. Leaves me feeling moisturized and ready for a clean shave. I would recommend this to anyone.
