I used it for re-twisting my locs, and it has a medium hold - strong enough to tame fly-aways, but not so stiff as to look "too polished," which is perfect for me. There is mica in this product (gives it its gold shimmer), but as glistening as the gel is, the gold doesn't show up in your hair. My hair isn't crunchy at all where I used this - so it's got a nice hold without feeling like you can't actually touch your hair.

A couple of weeks ago I bought and used this gel again on my wash and go...and WOW. Why did I ever try anything else??? Immediate favorite. This is a moisturizing, non-sticky gel that adds so much shine to your hair and defines it like no other. I also love how my hair doesn't get crunchy and my wash and go lasts almost a week with it. I noticed, too, that my hair doesn't tangle as much with this gel as the days go by. Oh and it smells light but beautiful. Can't go wrong with this one...and the whole line! Try it!
