I feel like this fragrance was made with me in mind. I find the original black orchid is too strong

Honestly one of the worst perfumes ever. It smells so strong and you could probably smell it for miles around. If you like delicate florals (rose, jasmine etc) or gourmand (e.g. vanilla, tonka, coconut) scents, you won't like this- it's the polar opposite.

My first job after graduating was in a bank, this was back in the early sixties. You always knew when the big door opened that Mrs Smith was in the bank , the beautiful scent of her perfume was Black Orchid

Amazing perfume, one of my favorites! Stays for very long time. Every time people ask which perfume I'm wearing.

This is not at all the type of fragrance I would usually go for as I like light floral scents but it is perfect for evening wear. Complex, dark and mysterious, I received several compliments when wearing and it's easily recognisable as Black Orchid.

The scent of this unisex fragrance will vary considerably depending on who is wearing it. When I first put it on, I don't like it at all but after an hour or so it calms down and is much nicer. I wouldn't rush out to buy it.

Very similar to ththe original but just as good. It is slighltyslightly more juicy and warmer than the black bottle. I save my sample for special occasions.

At first use I was not happy with it. It is not a perfume for everyone. I felt it was too heavy and unbearable but after it settles it melts with the pH of the skin and turns into a special perfume. I will only use it on special occasions.

I felt it was too sickly sweet smelling for me and so gave it away :(
