This is my first experience with any of Urban Decay's lip products, which was kind of a surprise even to me, because I know I have been looking at and adding plenty of their lip products to wishlists for a dozen years or more. But it's true. And now I fear I have been spoiled by getting something th...at hits all my sweet spots...are my expectations inflated now? I try to be aware of this and keep myself grounded, it was a lesson I learned young. But, seriously, this gloss-balm has got it going ON! It's not sticky or goopy, but it is creamy. It smells like cupcake batter! It's just a touch tingly, not as much as a Buxom lip gloss, but it does seem to juuuuust plumper your pucker, without making a big deal about itself. And shine, thank you Urban Decay, I have been waiting for shine to return. Don't get me wrong, I really do like a lot of the looks with liquid lipsticks/matte lipsticks, but I personally can't do much with most of it. I have tried, oh laws, I have tried! But my lips have too much topography going on, which is really not ideal for the matte look, and I kind of *freak out* when product makes my lips feel drier than any other part of my body. (I just got a shiver up my spine typing that...3x, not even exaggerating.) Demi-matte is about as far as I can make it. Matte lip looks freaking amazing on some people, and I wish I could achieve that look...I wish I could achieve certain haircuts too, but my hair type simply will never do some of those things, and I have had to let go of those unrealistic dreams, they are for others to achieve. But this, oh yes ma'am, for this shine I am on board with both feet! The "Cruisin'" color is great for me, it so nicely enhances my natural lip color. I won't even take a star away for transference, because that's to be expected with a gloss/balm, so would be unrealistic to do so. It feels so nice to apply, I'm not going to complain about getting extra opportunities! The product is vegan. It is infused with shea butter and passion fruit oil to hydrate and soften lips; formulated with hyaluronic acid for fuller & plumper lips all day.
