I purchased this kit mostly because I needed a new face cleaner, and it's always fun to get extras. Well I LOVE this face cleaner. It smells like a luxury hotel, and that in and of itself makes me feel like I made a good purchase every time I open it up. The one downside of the cleaner is that it is hard to keep the lid clean. This may be better in a pump bottle. The plus (of this compared to some other products I've tried from comparable brands) is that it foams up very nicely, a feeling that for me is a must when cleaning my face.

I love the original version so much that I purchased two 400ml bottles and one 200ml bottle. However, after using them, I realized the formula had been renewed. The scent has changed, and it feels more diluted than before. While I still like it, I don't enjoy it as much as the old version. That said, I wouldn't have a reason to look for an alternative unless Vichy starts offering a refill option.
