Gentle and Moisturizing

I received this item for free in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion. I use make-up removing wipes to take my make-up off because I find them very easy to use and I don't have to worry about liquids getting into my eyes and irritating them. As someone with sensitive combination skin, I worry... when trying something new that my skin will not react well to it; with this 'One Step Cleanser' for sensitive skin, I was mostly satisfied. It did not irritate my skin at all, but did leave a funny feeling in my eyes because it did get into them while trying to use it to remove my eye make-up. I first tried using it with cotton balls which, where I did not find it to remove almost anything at all. I decided to invest in some double-sided microfibre facial pads; one side being the microfibre cloth, and the other an exfoliating sponge. This turned the effectiveness of the cleanser a complete 180°. I did not even feel like I was using a product to remove make-up; it just felt like I was massaging lotion into my skin. Though it says '3. Eye make-up remover', it had no problems removing the rest of my make-up, too; which would be eyebrow creme-gel, blush, highlight, and matte liquid lipstick. I do not normally wear foundation or concealer so I cannot say how well it would remove those as well. I was very happy with the results because there was no make-up residue left behind, no need to wash off my face after applying, it did not have any negative effects on my sensitive skin, and it left my skin feeling moisturized and very smooth. I also really like the smell of this product; it's very light and reminds me of baby lotions. I did not have to use a lot of the cleanser to get good results either, which I think is very important to look at when buying items so you know if you're getting a good value, especially when the items are more expensive. The only thing I did not like about this product was that it easily gets into your eyes, which is kind of unavoidable since it is meant to be used as an eye make-up remover, and though it does not burn or irritate them, it has a weird greasy feeling(in the eye, not on the skin) and leaves your sight foggy. I will try to use less product on the eye itself to see if it will fix this problem. In conclusion, I think the Vichy Pureté Thermale 3 in 1 One Step Cleanser for sensitive skin works very well, quickly and gently, for any skin type or combination of skin types, also leaving them very moisturized. I would recommend it to anyone to try it a least once, and I believe it is a great product for a great value that is truly a 3 in 1.
