Smells fishy
As soon as I open the Safety seal the whiff of the marine, made me want to gag. I mixed it in with my chai, which made it taste like old stale chai that has been sitting there for a while and then reheated. I tried mixing it In with pink lemonade, and it still smelled. I think the smell was the least prominent in milk. I haven't used it long enough to see results, but I am hopeful
Getting Compliments 🥰
After roughly about a month or so of taking this collagen powder in addition to my skincare routine, my roommate started complimenting me on how healthy and smooth my skin looks. Inspired her to take it, too. I believe she wants to try the original bovine Vital Proteins since it's the more affordable of the two options. But I'm glad that my taking this marine collagen is working! I could see my skin improving, but it felt nice to know someone else noticed!
Fave Addition to Daily Routine
Tried this and loved it ever since. I mix it with my morning coffee and/or my evening hot chocolate (depends on when I want to take 10g or 20g for the day). Does not smell or taste like anything so it blends well with my drinks. I take it for skin and joint health. Just wish it were easier to find in all stores so I don't have to drive too far to purchase it. Glad it's available online at least.

Decided to try marine collagen and chose Vital Proteins since it is the leading collagen powder brand - for both bovine and marine types. This did not disappoint! I wanted something that would dissolve well in my coffee or hot cocoa. I tried it with orange juice as well. I did NOT taste anything strange when I mixed it in with any of these drinks (YAY!) but it is definitely easier to dissolve in hot drinks than cold ones (expected that!).
