works well but.....
I've been using the waterpik for about 15 years and it's very effective, BUT every 14 to 18 months, the charge becomes weaker and weaker and then dies. I would far rather pay more for a device that lasts much longer than contributing to such senseless waste.
Do not purchase
Worked decently 22 1/2 months then it quit. Husband has taken it apart and lots of BLACK mold inside! Battery has charged but still nothing. Motor has been tested and it has failed.

Battery died and won't hold a charge. Only had it for 18 months. Back to flossing.
Good but...
I really like my Waterpik flosser - I've used it for several years and I'm on my third one, which is now about 2.5 years old. I find that, generally, they start failing shortly after the warranty runs out!🙄I normally use it twice a day, but i've become very disappointed in the pressure of the water stream. At first it was nice and strong, but despite diligent cleaning with vinegar, as directed, something(?) seems to be slowing the water pressure down until the flow now is quite unsatisfactory and I'm here to buy my FOURTH flosser! I just wish we were able to open the thing up to enable further cleaning as I'm fairly certain the problem lies just beyond the water receptacle area.

waterpik.com/This is my first Waterpik which I bought at the suggestion of my dentist. I read the directions and watched the "video" on line but found both to be of little help. I have a model that requires charging. On the positive side, it does a good job of cleaning however it is very messy to use and I have not been able to find any type of indicator light which lets me know when to recharge it. In general I am disappointed in the product and do not feel like I got my money's worth.
